As an educator and mother of two young children, I am proud to announce that I am running for Ward 13 Hamilton Wentworth District Public School Board Trustee.

As an advocate for life long learning, I care deeply about students of all ages and the value that education brings to our society at a time when intolerance and misinformation works to divide us.

Having community roots in Dundas, I have worked for years providing mentorship through summer youth camps and student career path programs. Throughout this volunteer work, I have learned first hand about some of the personal challenges our children and parents face when navigating the public eduction system.

Our Public School system will be facing some very tough and important challenges over these next 4 years. Understanding that the best way to make this system work for our community is to work through these difficult issues together.

I commit to connecting families to process of eduction decision making so we can build the best possible education experience for our children. In running to be your Ward 13 Public School Board Trustee I will continue to serve the students, parents and community of Dundas and ask that you join me in “Learning to Lead Together.”

My Commitment:

  • I will demand that the community’s vision for the Greensville school project be prioritized.

  • I will advocate for city investments in safe routes to school and active transportation for kids, parents and school staff.

  • During future school accommodation reviews, I will fight for educational funding that Ward 13 deserves.
